Asian American Journalists Association Regional Conference

For the 2018 edition of New.Now.Next Media Conference, Isabel worked as the programming director for the conference, and was one of the main organisers of AAJA-Asia’s flagship journalism conference that gathers newsroom leaders, journalists and communications professionals from around the region every year.

Her responsibilities included:
– Building the conference programme project plan from the theme, panels to speakers
– Managing ongoing communications with core partners, vendors, and internal cross-functional teams
– Driving event volunteer staffing and on-site coordination
– Managing and maintaining the official website of the conference as well as digital communications strategy
